Q&A:
When did you start using Leica? I started using Leica around 2004. My first camera was an M6 with a 50mm Summicron lens.
What is your favorite camera? I have an old D-Lux 2 and a 240MP but my favourite is still my M6
What is your favorite subject matter to shoot? I love shooting my location scouting landscapes because they infom the way Im going to shoot a movie and I use them as inspiration.
What other Leica camera are you thinking of getting? I would like an M11 and an M Monochrome but I will keep my 240MP because it shoots video as well as stills. Also would LOVE a Noctilux M Titan 50mm….
How has Leica changed your life? What is important to me is discovering the look of the M series lenses how they were used by the best of the photographers over the last century that I had admired, giving the images a version of painterly but realistic quality. They are very cinematic and they do not look too clinical or what I call too sharp/digital.
