Brandon grew up on Long Island, NY where he was raised on welfare in a middle-class neighborhood by a single mother. Who insist that he see America as a place of opportunity and possibility. After losing both parents at the age of 18 & 19 he was forced to drop out of NYU and began a career in marketing, Shortly thereafter he co-founded Code and Theory in 2001 which has become one of the largest creative agencies. It was this juxtaposition of my upbringing which included personal loss and professional development that deeply informed his work. As a contemporary artist who uses photography and sculpture to examine life, and the notion of time, cultural coexistence, and the ever-changing urban landscape.

Q&A:
When did you start using Leica?
Starting shooting with Leica at the launch of the m8
What is your favorite camera?
Leica m11 Monochrom
What is your favorite subject matter to shoot?
Love shooting The American Experiment, an exploration of the ideals and icons that represent this country. Bringing together images of our patriotic symbols, our vast and varied landscapes, and the tapestry of our humanity poses the question, in a time of heated debate: What does it mean to be an American?
What other Leica camera are you thinking of getting?
have been eyeing the s2 for some time
How has Leica changed your life?
The compact nature and speed put me in positions to capture the images that no other camera could.
